Job Description
|
Assume a role as Java/J2EE Architect - Senior Developer to architect, design and build enterprise systems for a series of application development initiatives targeting a J2EE environment. Candidates must be skilled in J2EE Design Patterns and best practices with excellent oral and verbal communication skills. Experience in major RDBMS required and exposure to Unified Modeling Language (UML) to model system design specifications a plus.
Responsibilities and Technical Qualification:
*Strong Object Oriented background with extensive Java experience.
*Proven experience in architecting, designing and implementing scalable J2EE Enterprise applications on major J2EE platforms including IBM WebSphere, BEA WebLogic, JBoss, Oracle 10g utilizing industry standard J2EE Design Patterns (Gang of Four). OS - Windows, UNIX, Linux etc a plus.
*Specific technology experience required include Java1.5/J2EE1.4 related technologies - JSP/JSF, Servlets, EJB, JMS, JDBC, RMI, JNDI, Messaging, Transactions, XML, WebServices etc.
*Experience in developing Swing/AWT applications a plus.
*Experience required in managing a team development using major IDEs including WSAD, JBuilder, IDEA etc and integration of various SCM systems like Rational Clearcase, CVS.
*Extensive experience in developing enterprise applications using MVC/Other major frameworks. Struts 1.2 Framework with exposure to Tiles preferable.
*Experience in Business process integration frameworks.
*Outstanding interpersonal, writing and communication skills. Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a team environment.
*Experience in Software development lifecycle utilizing Rational Rose RUP or similar methodology and familiar with modeling tools in creating class diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams.
*Strong background in Relational Database modeling, design and development. Experience in major relational databases, preferably Oracle, Sybase, DB2 etc.
*Experience in industry standard persistence frameworks/ORM including EJB, Hibernate, JDO, TopLink, iBatis etc.
*BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other quantitatively oriented field. 7+ years relevant experience
*Minimum 4+ years of Internet based web application development experience in using Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJBs, Struts, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, XML, XSLT, WebServices.
*Should have the experience and skills to evaluate, analyze and propose Enterprise
