Qualifications:
Knowledge of Windows 2000 from a user’s perspective.
Knowledge of Unix from a user’s perspective.
Experience with formal testing procedures and documentation.
Experience with Test Director
At least 3 years experience as an IT professional.
At least 2 years experience in formal application testing.
Description:
The application test analyst will be responsible for application testing in a data migration effort. The candidate needs to be well versed in test methodologies and able to formulate test cases and plans based on functional requirements. The analyst needs to be able to quickly gain a clear understanding of application functionality and how to apply the knowledge to practical testing.
Responsibilities:
Perform and develop unit test cases and plans.
Develop and perform functional and stress testing and plans.
Develop and implement regression testing where applicable.
Formally document bugs found.
Coordinate bug fixes with developers, DBAs, and vendors.
Participate in discussions with project team.
